BATMAN & ROBIN - SCHWARZENEGGER MR. FREEZE PAINTED STATUE - He's surely the coolest of all Bat-foes in Gotham City, that sub-zero psychotic known as Mr. Freeze.
Here's Arnold Schwarzenegger as the cold-hearted criminal, just as he looked in the fourth feature film, "Batman and Robin." It's a limited edition painted statue of Arnie's Freeze, produced in celebration of the movie a decade ago.
Released in 1997, the statue handsomely captures the villain in his elaborate life-support suit, weapon and all. An officially licensed piece (and one that had to be sanctioned by Schwarzenegger), the Mr. Freeze statue was designed by Warner Brothers, and offered to collectors exclusively through their Studio Gallery.
He stands a full 13" tall x 9" wide x 6" deep, and is securely mounted to his oval display base. Freeze's formidable firearm is cast separately, and removes from the figure for shipping. It alone measures 5 1/4" in length. It's a well sculpted rendition of the film fiend, with a good likeness to Arnie, a powerful pose, and high attention given to the details of his complex costume. The statue is fully painted, and features a slick metallic silver and blue sheen to the outfit, as well as lifelike facial features.
Out of production for 10 years now, Warner Gallery's Mr. Freeze is offered here in mint condition; finely finished, with no chips or dings, complete in its decorated box with all inner packaging. If you're a fan of the Batman's frozen foe, it'd be a crime to miss this madman... He's too cool!
