Description
This is a fine copy from the second U.K. reissue of the debut single by British post punk/Goth group Bauhaus, originally released in 1979. (Per Discogs, the original pressing came in a thin paper sleeve. This copy comes in a standard 12" jacket with a spine.) The group memorably performed the a-side of the record in the opening scene of the 1983 vampire film The Hunger starring David Bowie and Catherine Deneuve. Though it isn't listed on the disc label, there is a second song on the b-side, a demo version of the group's second single, "Dark Entries," that fades early. The jacket has some creasing on the back cover, and is otherwise close to pristine -- EX(+). The disc is clean with a few hairline scrapes, and plays close to M- with a little light surface noise (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
