B.B. KING "SINGIN' THE BLUES" 1st mono lp on Crown CLP 5020 US issue 1957 G+/VG. (New dealer: Please check my About Me page).
I would grade this LP G+. I will only auction G+ condition LPs that are “classic recordings” or just very old, interesting and hard-to-find LPs. These records will probably have a healthy amount of play and visible scuffs or lines that do affect play. The record still plays through nicely; it’s just an obviously much appreciated recording. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM RESULTS RECLEAN EACH SIDE AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE). This looks pretty beat but like most 50's vinyl it still plays just fine with no major crackups. So play this before you react. Gotta be Maxwell Davis here with his great band and arrangements. A very collectible 1st. Crown but probably not for audiophiles.
The Jacket: In black magic marker, my initials back upper left, an x back lower left. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover VG overall with corner and seam wear. 3" & 1/2" seam splits spine. But the cover is beautiful and makes the jacket worth the price of admission of it's own accord. The original factory price sticker is on the front.
