Description
I got this about 20 years ago from The Frantics Jim Manolides. It was autographed "To Little Bill, Best Of Everything B.B. King" when B.B. King played at The Evergreen Ballroom in Olympia, Washington c1957. Little Bill (and The Bluenotes "I Love An Angel" Dolton No. 4 1959).
B.B. King "Singin' The Blues" Crown LP 5020 1957. Record has several surface scratches and plays great with some light pops in places. Labels are unmarked. Cover has tape along the split bottom seam, completely split side seam with tape residue, edge wear, corner wear, sticker tear, rippling on the front slick, ink autograph and age browning/staining.
Following is a quote from Buck Ormsby (The Bluenotes and The Wailers "Louie Louie") about their early days watching R&B groups at NW Clubs:
So I go out there and I'm standing in a sea of black people and there's two little white heads sticking up there, and that was Little Bill and me. And we were catching all these black acts—you know, Little Junior Parker, Little Willie John. We used to go up and talk to 'em. B. B. King'd sit on the stairs and talk to Little Bill.
