Description: 1957 Mono 1st press on Crown Records.  Black vinyl and black label with deep groove on both sides. Has "Long Playing 33? " text.  As you might know, Crown was a budget label out of LA, that for some reason released a lot of great blues and r&b along side some just terrible schlock.  

Sleeve Condition: VG, sleeve is in nice shape overall.  It does have an old tape repair on the left hand side and the bottom. The color is very nice though.  Back slick is pretty clean, but there is some light pencil writing by a few of the tracks.  Overall, I'd call this VG, but on the stronger side.  It presents really well, but there are just a few too many defects for VG+.  What I believe to be the original inner sleeve is included.

Vinyl: VG, so bare in mind, this comes with the caveat of being a Crown.  These are known to be generally bad pressings on low quality vinyl.  That said, this one sounds better than most.  There are certainly some passages with fuzz or crackle, but for the most part the music comes through clean and clear.  There are a couple of small pressing bumps which you can hear a bit.  Visually, the record looks really good with nice original gloss.  Labels look great with very light spindle marks and vinyl is very clean - can't have been played many times.  Despite all this, it's still a very cool record.  Don't miss out on grabbing this one today!!
