BBC TRANSCRIPTION DISC.

78 RPM.

War Sounds (World War 2).

5 tracks per side - please note the tracks do not run into each other, the needle has to be put down at the beginning of each track.

Side one (front):

1. 25 pdr gun - shell passing over (12 seconds)
2. 25 pdr gun - shell passing over, twice (22 seconds)
3. Squadron of Mitchells hedge hopping (30 secs)
4. Three Boston take off (28 seconds)
5. Boston takes off (slipstream), Mitchell takes off (20 seconds).

Side two (back):

1. AA Barrage (1 min 40 seconds)
2. AA Barrage (5 seconds)
3. AA Barrage (ducks in background) (8 seconds)
4. German bomber (28 seconds)
5. AA Barrage (20 seconds).

All timings are approximate.

All tracks play through with crackle/surface noise.

There are some white marks on the record - see last 4 photos- hard to photograph (this does not affect play)

In BBC Recorded Programmes Library sleeve - in fairly good condition.

BBC Cardiff stamped on sleeve and side 2 of record.
