DESCRIPTION OF RECORD:
PFITZNER AND SIBELIUS performend by ROHAN DE SARAM on CELLO with the BBC SCOTTISH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA conducted by CHRISTOPHER ADEY . . . this is a BBC TRANSCRIPTION DISC from 1976 the licence for the disc expired on 31.12.80.
i have cleaned the disc using a soft clean damp cloth,then i have wiped the disc with a soft dry clean cloth,i have then play tested the disc on my record player,and i can give the following comments about the sound that was reproduced from the disc during it's playback plus an overall guide & feel to the record,the record comes in it's original BBC TRANSCRIPITION DISC SLEEVE.and is 100% free from having any scratches & i can not see any surface marks under strong light,the spindle looks like the disc has not been used or had any wear.the overall visual look of the disc is in perfect condition,however when i played the disc,i was in for a nasty surprise,as the disc only grades in VG only quality.there are constant crackles & pops throughtout (which is a shame) this disc gives a low grade sound during it's playback & is not in 100% NEAR MINT LIKE NEW AS NEW CONDITION.please use the zoom tool to have a good look at the photos to see any other imperfections that you might think are there.

FINALLY I WILL BE UPLAODING MANY MORE OF MY LATE GRAND FATHERS VINTAGE CLASSICAL VINLY RECORD COLLECTION THAT SPANS OVER 60 YEARS OF COLLECTIING.OVER THE XMAS PERIOD,AS THERE ARE HUNDREDS.SO PLEASE DO KEEP AN EYE OUT,OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS / WEEKS AS THEY ALL HAVE TO GO & FIND A GOOD NEW HOME,FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO ENJOY FOR THE NEXT 50+ YEARS
