Description
This auction is for a BBC TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE DISC 12" - (Double Sided)
BBC BANDSTAND - 85, Men O' Brass / Conducted By Harry Mortimer.
BBC BANDSTAND - 86, The National Youth Brass Band Of Great Britain / Conducted By Denis Wright. Matrix Numbers - 110212 / 110213
Expiry date originally said 5.1.67, but has had the 7 crossed out & has an 8 over it in written in blue pen.
Duration - 28 mins & 38 sec's on one side / 27 mins & 54 Seconds the other side.
BBC Transcription discs were usually issued around 2 to 3 years prior to the expiry date, these discs were only ever produced in very limited numbers (usually somewhere between 50 - 100 copies only) & many of these would have been disposed / destroyed when they had expired, which now makes them scarce & hard to find.
This disc is in VG condition.
Please See Pictures Provided To See In Full Detail, As These Will Help With Overall Condition.
