GENUINE "BBC TRANSCRIPTION PROGRAMME RECORD" FROM 1974

You are looking at a very rare record "Top of the Pops" no. 489.

 I believe (but cannot be sure) that only 100 or so were produced and many of these were destroyed. 

With performances live in the studio.  The discs includes one fantastic interview, with Maddy Prior of Steeleye Span.  Hits from Wings, Brian Matthews introduces QUEEN as "A BAND THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS, NOW BREAKING THROUGH BIG.  SOME SAY THEY'RE THE ULTIMATE RIP OFF, OTHERS SAY THEY'RE BOUND TO BE THE NEXT BIG SENSATION!".    Elton John, Medicine Head, Wings and Junior Campbell.
