BBC TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES LP’s
containing the BBC programme:
THE SIXTIES AT THE BEEB
PART 11 (second half) and
PART 12 (second half)
In 1987, the BBC released the programme “The Sixties at the Beeb”
in twelve parts on twelve LP’s. According to the catalogue pages,
most of the recordings used in the series were made originally
for the weekly Saturday Club and Top Gear programmes on BBC Radio.
These programmes are presented by Andy Peebles.
In the second half of part eleven, we hear some new faces including
Free and The Nice, plus Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin.
