Two very rare BBC Transcription records. "Portrait of a City" is London in prose and verse, compiled by Walter Allen. "The Omar Khayyam Story" discusses the reputation of the Persian poet, Omar Khayyam, examined by Christopher Sykes. These recordings are originally from the late 1950s to early 1960s.
