Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING
I combine shipping costs on multiple purchases. You will be charged the actual postage fee it costs me to send your things. If it is possible, I will combine your purchases into a single package and charge for that. However, with heavier items being posted outside the UK, this may not be possible because Royal Mail only carries a maximum of 2 Kilos. In this case I will divide your purchases up into lots weighing 2 kilos or less. Please bear in mind that I like to package items securely so they arrive safe at the other end, therefore this will add quite a bit to the weight on delicate items.
Due to my job requiring odd hours of working and sometimes a few days away from home, it will sometimes, but not always, be a few days before I can post your item. This is reflected in the Expected Delivery Date you see when buying. If you need something urgently, it is worth contacting me to see if I can give it priority.
Feedback other than positive harms business. Please contact me before leaving feedback, if there is something not right with your purchase. I do my best to describe things accurately, but sometimes there may be issues I am not aware of, I can't be an expert on everything! I am willing to sort out any issue that is due to a mistake of mine. I aim to have only satisfied customers, as I treasure the near 100% feedback that I have. These make it viable to keep my prices down. Many thanks
2 78rpm 13" metal BBC transcription discs of speeches in honour of the crews of HMS Ajax & Exeter after the sinking of the Graf Spee, one disc is Winston Churchill the other is presumably the commanding officers, spread over 2 one sided discs, dated 12/3/1940. These must be very rare if not impossible to find. Found in an attic in a house clearance in an old rusty tin full of dead leaves and spiders, this has cleaned up OK so it is at least playable, although obviously the sound quality leaves something to be desired, although it is not really badly scratched or anything. A professional clean and restoration could work wonders. I have a whole collection of these for sale - check out my other auctions!
Postage - these are very fragile and will need substantial packaging, hence the high postage rates. Buy more than one lot and the postage rates will be combined.
