This superb album was released in the U.S in 1970 and a year later in Japan (SR 473) ....it is one of B.B. King's best. With wonderful contributions from Carole King (Piano & Electric Piano), Leon Russell (Piano & Conductor), Joe Walsh (Rhythm Guitar) and several others....it was in some respects, a "departure" for King; in the way the songs were arranged, produced, and recorded. The copy I am offering is an extremely rare Japanese White Label Promo with Grooved labels and sounds absolutely amazing....it has a richer, deeper, "heavier" sound than other vinyl copies and makes the CD version sound like a joke. An incredibly rare pressing and unlikely to be found in this condition again.
Condition of Gatefold Jacket: Excellent(+) ....this heavy-duty board constructed jacket shows only minor wear...mainly to the corners and spine. Inner gatefold is near-perfect and the 4-page lyric insert is in excellent condition with evidence of barely noticeable black felt script.
Condition of Record: Near Mint....beautiful gloss and hardly a blemish to be seen. The deep-grooved white labels are also in a superb clean condition with the faintest traces of foxing. An incredible audiophile record.
