BEACH BOYS 2011 Smile Sessions 2LP 12" Vinyl Test Pressing Unreleased Version M-
The Beach Boys - Smile Sessions (Capitol)
2LP test pressing set which was issued by Capitol Records in 2011. This earlier version of Smile Sessions features an earlier cut of the album, which has no "RE" in the matrix on either side of disc one, and no "RE-2" on side C. Side D is intentionally blank on this pressing, as it had not been completely mastered by the time this test pressing was made.
The Smile Sessions album underwent several re-cuts before being officially released, and of the several sets we have this appears to be the earliest version that has surfaced. It is unknown how exactly it differs from the released version, but clearly there were issues that needed to be addressed before release.
This is a unique opportunity to own a Beach Boys test pressing from the collection of Mark Linett! Although there might be very minor flaws in the sound of this test pressing, they are in the recording itself not the disc. Visually it is near-mint condition.

We grade conservatively, accurately and honestly. S/S, M, M- (NM), VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, WBR (Poor). We do not use EX (many dealers' EX would be our VG).
