Description

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beach Boys called 'The Beach Boys Christmas Album' and is an ORIGINAL 1964 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Rainbow' Capitol label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! IN FACT, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE RAREST BEACH BOYS LP OF ALL TIME!!!! IT WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK FOR THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD IN DECEMBER 1964 (DATED 6412 ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER), AND DIDNT SELL PARTICULARLY WELL. AND LIKE ALL CHRISTMAS ALBUMS - AS SOON AS THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD WAS OVER, SALES FELL AWAY TO NOTHING AND THIS LP WAS QUICKLY DELETED!!!! AND SO BECAUSE OF THIS (THIS LP WAS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR 2 MONTHS!) - IT IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN ULTRA RARE STEREO!!!! AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP - AND MAKES IT THE RAREST UK BEACH BOYS LP EVER MADE!!!! AND I FOR ONE HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1964 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, MONOS ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED THE UK MARKET AT VIRTUALLY 100% - WITH MOST SHOPS NOT EVEN STOCKING STEREOS, AND INSTEAD THEY HAD TO BE SPECIALLY ORDERED. AS A RESULT, VIRTUALLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING WAS MADE IN COMMON MONO - WITH VIRTUALLY NONE IN MEGA RARE STEREO!!!! AND THIS MEANS THAT FINDING ULTRA RARE STEREO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! AND AS AN ULTRA RARE UK STEREO 1ST PRESSING - THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL THAT THIS IS THE RAREST BEACH BOYS LP OF ALL TIME!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND PLAYS BRILLIANTLY!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1964 UK STEREO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'RAINBOW' CAPITOL LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'VERTICAL' TYPEFACE, 1ST PRESS EMITEX INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' STEREO COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Capitol UK 1st Pressing from 1964 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ST 2164 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Rainbow' Capitol label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK STEREO 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Beach Boys at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beach Boys, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with only very VERY minimal wear around the centre holes, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves and gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Emitex inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' STEREO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear (apart from some VERY minor 'touching in' on the top edge - see picture), NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is flat looking!), shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!!
