Description
Up for auction is a copy of Holland by The Beach Boys, released in 1973 on Brother-Reprise, cat no P-8314R. This is an original Japanese pressing, & comes with the Mount Vernon & Fairway EP and a complete 4-page lyric sheet (including the words for the EP!). The obi is also present, but this appears to be a repro.
Condition: cover has a couple of minor dings in the top & bottom right corners, but is otherwise beautiful. The LP is also glorious, the only signs of play being a few spindle marks on the otherwise problem-free labels. The EP appears not to have been played (the EP cover is also mint). The lyric insert is also near perfect. All round EX/M-/M-/M- (cover/vinyl/vinyl/insert). A fantastic example of a rare pressing.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor), following Record Collector’s grading guidelines, with an extra + or – here & there to separate the wheat from the chaff. I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings.
