BEACH BOYS PET SOUNDS 1981 COLUMBIA HOUSE MONO REISSUE SEALED BRIAN WILSON

$

This auction is for a STILL SEALED copy of THE BEACH BOYS -- PET SOUNDS VINYL RECORD ALBUM!

After some research, it has been determined that this is a 1981 Columbia House Club Edition MONO reissue. Catalogue number is N-516156.  Information says that this was pressed at the Columbia Records Pressing Plant in Carrollton, Georgia.  See pictures #2 - 3 - 4 - 5 for the Columbia House designation along the bottom of the back cover.

Photographs #6 through #14 show the front cover and all four corners, plus a few back cover pics.  Pictures #15 and #16 are of the side spine that shows the album name and catalogue number.  Photo #17 is of the sealed "open side", where you would slide the album out.  Again...this is a sealed copy.

Lastly, two other things to mention.  In pic #6...which is of the top left corner of the front cover...there is the tiniest corner blunt.  Negligible, considering this pressing is well over 45 years old.
In the final photograph, shown is a copy of the green Capitol label with a large pressing ring that is SUPPOSEDLY on this pressing.  This is what expert information says the inside record labels look like, but since THIS COPY OF THE BEACH BOYS "PET SOUNDS" lp is STILL SEALED, I guess we shall never know...

In the coming weeks, I will be listing other Beach Boys memorabilia.  Anything from records, reels, a program, music book...even an autograph.   I have to dig deep to find all these items.  My new listings are usually put up on Sunday evenings and let them run for a week, so check back every once in awhile.  And thanks so much for looking...

It's the sad realization, that with the passing of Brian Wilson, one of the great triumvirate of music (with The Beatles and the Stones) is gone.  In the next ten years, all we'll have left is the music, and that will have to do...  It's gonna be a rough decade.

This is a THREE DAY auction, that ends Sunday 6-15-25.

If you have any questions about this item, please feel free to email me.  Also, check out my other auctions going on NOW of various other items of interest.  Thanks again for looking...during these most very...very...very troubled times...
