Description

This auction is for (1) EX copy of THE BEACH BOYS classic - PET SOUNDS.   This is a FIRST ISSUE (1966) MONO Capital Records black label with color band (please see photo).  Catalog number is T2458.  

The vinyl record is in  Excellent CONDITION.   All lettering is perfect and the label still displays its original deep black color.   I am grading the record itself EX as it has been played.   In normal daylight the vinyl appears to be with only minor scuffing or surface scratches.    There are certainly no scratches or needle marks.     

After careful play by myself, the sound is extremely good.  The music is full and rich like you would expect from this early pressing.   I purchased the record used and it was graded also EX by a reputable dealer.   I play my records and I am not a dealer.  

The cover is also graded EX.   There is no major wear of any kind, no seam wear or splitting, no delamination.  I would have graded NM if it weren't for some small writing in ink on the back of the cover, lower right hand side.   The original liner is also EX.

The album will be carefully packed and shipped with a resealable Japanese outer sleeve.   I have also placed the record in a poly lined sleeve, and it will be shipped outside of the cover, but within the outer sleeve.
