SETTLE IN FOR A LONG RUN OF COLLECTABLE LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES!!  This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1966 BLACK LABEL WITH RAINBOW BORDER FIRST STEREO UK PRESSING OF THE 1966 UK CAPITOL / EMI RECORDS classic LP titled 'Pet Sounds' from The Beach Boys.  It is Capitol / /EMI Records UK catalog number ST 2488, black labels with silver print and rainbow border, rigid vinyl pressing.  Record comes packaged inside the laminated cover in its original stock EMI Records inner sleeve with pictures of other then-current EMI UK LPs.  Tracks: Wouldn't It Be Nice, You Still Believe In Me, That's Not Me, Don't Talk (Put Your Head On My Shoulder), I'm Waiting For The Day, Let's Go Away For Awhile, Sloop John B, God Only Knows, I Know There's An Answer, Here Today, I Just Wan't Made For These Times, Pet Sounds, Caroline No.   Technical condition of record is conservatively VG, due to the presence of one surface scratch which affects most of the track 'Don't Talk' and which will cause slight ticks through most of that track.  Otherwise record has a small to moderate amount of surface marks, none of which can be felt and none of which affect play.  Record plays very nicely with a little bit of light surface noise and the aforementioned ticks through 'Don't Talk'.   Condition of laninated cover is a low VG+ with some age discoloration along the edges of the back cover, some slight wrinkles, some ring and contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners.  Cover has no splits, tears, stickers, or writing.  This classic LP is priced according to condition and would be an essential addition to any Beach Boys or surf rock-n-roll record collection!
