Description
Up for auction is a copy of Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys, released in 1966. This is a promo copy of the Brother/Reprise pressing from 1972, cat no 2MS 2083, which is generally believed to be the best sounding edition, and is, as the label testifies, “pressed in monophonic sound, the way Brian cut it”. Also present is a promo copy of Carl & The Passions/So Tough, the album with which this edition was packaged.
Condition: both albums have some surface marks, but nothing particularly deep or feelable. There are occasional clicks & pops, but no jumps or sticks. Labels are fine. VG. No cover present.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
