BEACH BOYS - Pet Sounds original UK MONO EX 1966 LP
The time has come to bite the bullet and sell more of my vinyl collection - some classical, some jazz, some pop, rock, folk & psych. I know it won't be appreciated by my daughter or the next generation, so I'm shifting it myself and hope I find good homes for it. The hard work is deciding what to let go first, but it will probably be duplicates, stuff I have on CD and items unplayed for ages, and I'll just pick from those at random. You never know, there might just be something to suit your taste.

The Album:
Astounding album from Brian Wilson which raised the bar for all contemporary composers, Lennon & McCartney included. Would we have had Sgt Peppers without it? God only knows (ha ha)
Condition:
Cover: Single sleeve, front-laminated, flip-back is sadly a litle tired. There's light ringwear and laminate cracking on the front, and the unlaminated rear is a little soiled with age. (see pictures). Nevertheless, it is solid and intact with clearly legible spine. EMI advertising inner sleeve.
Labels: Rainbow rim matt labels are bright and clean. Just a few light spindle marks, no writing or stickers, excellent.
Vinyl: Great vinyl with good original lustre. Just the customary very faint paper scrapes - truly excellent. Sounds excellent throughout. -1/-1 matrix and 1/1 mothers.
Overall:
A fine sounding copy of this classic - I'd guess that this might be professionally graded at (cover / vinyl) VG / EX
