BEACH BOYS, Pet Sounds, original UK mono 1966 LP, Capitol records labels.
T 2458, original UK 1966 mono ‘rainbow’ Capitol record labels.
A UK copy in original condition, featuring,
1. an original UK mono record from 1966,
2. earliest mono record ‘matrix’ of, 1 / 1,
3. earliest record ‘mothers’ of 1 / 1,
4. original Capitol ‘rainbow’ record labels from 1966, with the text, ‘Sold in UK ‘, etc,
5. original UK first issue mono ‘flip back’ sleeve,
6. comes with its original period 1966 UK spec, EMI advertising inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. This laminate has retained its glossy finish. The spine is very good++ condition, it has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges have remained clean for their age. The rear of the sleeve has remained very clean for its age. The rear of the sleeve features the original 1960s ‘tri flip back’, ie fold over edges. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original UK spec, black and white advertising inner sleeve. A very clean, white well preserved inner sleeve for its age. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There are two small ‘nicks’ to the rear opening edge.
THE RECORD: side one is in very good condition. Side two is in near very good condition. The record has remained dark and glossy.
The matrix are: T1 2458 – 1 and T2 2458 - 1,
The mother / stampers are: ‘1 RR’ and ‘1 RM’.
THE AUDIO: each side plays near excellent, it plays with some light ‘ticks’ and some light ‘crackle’ heard here and there. The record plays with a full, loud period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: each label is in very good++ condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
