BEACH BOYS
The Beach Boys Story
MEGA rare 3 LP set of BBC transcription discs. Each side has a seperate title, as follows: LP 1 (136121-S/136123-S) -A: 1. Beaches, Boards, Blondes and Buggies -B: 2. On the crest of the Wave LP 2 (136125-S/136127-S) -A: 3. Pet Sounds - A Concept? -B: 4. Smile and meditation LP 3 (136129-S/136131-S) -A: Trying to change the label -B: Making waves again The set was released in 1974 and is very rare indeed! All three records come in white sleeves, with no inserts or scriptsheets, which I believe were never printed with BBC TS' discs. The records are in superb excellent if not near-mint condition.
NEW INFORMATION ADDED JULY 4TH:
All the while I was under the impression that I had TWO sets of the SAME radio show. It has now come to my atttention that all SIX records form ONE complete series. The titles of each hour were spread over two sides on two different records, so that both could be linked together by DJ's on two decks. So the six titles of programmes are notifed on the records as SIDE 1 of 2 and (on the other record) SIDE 2 of 2. So what's on offer here are ALL SIX records. Sorry for the confusion and the fact that only 3 records appear on the scan - you will get all six records.
