This is the UK Mono 1st press of 'Wild Honey' by The Beach Boys. The press is complete with the earliest rainbow Capitol label and the earliest 'Patents Pending' Garrod & Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. It has a superb high gloss, with a couple of marks and a few hairlines on both sides. On playing the sound is very warm and clear with the ocasional slight background noise, but it still sounds great. The black Capitol label is completely clean with bold black, bright colours and bright silver text. There is only light spindle wear. The record is complete with the original advertising inner sleeve.
The earliest Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are vivid and the image is extremely unworn. The laminate has a bright shine and the whole cover is solid. The back is still extremely bright with just the slightest discolouration by the opening edge, the flipbacks are complete and sealed and the spine is firm with clear text.
