Description
This is an overall fine original U.S. pressing copy of the debut LP by American psych group the Beacon Street Union, released in 1968. The group was from Boston, and was part of the media-hyped "Bosstown sound." Their debut is a bit of a mixed bag due to the inclusion a couple of uninspiring covers ("Beautiful Delilah," "This Sportin' Life"), but it features several fine (if lyrically pretentious) rockers like "Mystic Mourning," "Blue Avenue," "Green Destroys the Gold," and others. The gatefold jacket has a small cutout hole, creasing in one corner, and light ring, corner, and seam wear -- EX(-). The disc is clean with some hairline scrapes and a little light scuffing, and plays with light surface noise and some crackling (VG++). The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
