Never before seen. Insanely rare official Columbia/Def Jam Mexican issue - "For sale and resale in Mexico only".
The exhaustive Beastie Boys discography at Beastiemania http://www.beastiemania.com/discog/filter.php?title=licensed%20to%20ill&band=b has been collating for more than 13 years and this tape has never been listed or mentioned.
The cover art is different to any other issue ( it appears to be simply an adhoc resized photograph of the Mexican issued square LP cover) and all track titles are accompanied with their Spanish translations eg. "Fight For Your Right To Party" / "Lucha Por Tu Derecho". A detailed track list and credits in Spanish are printed sharply on the double-sided J-card and stone-grey classic Columbia cassette body. Very collectable tape.
Will be mailed in professional packaging with stiff card and bubble-wrap.
Condition
Graded under bright light.
Cassette: EX+. Music plays loud, bright and clear. Big full sound with a bright top-end. Under bright light cassette body is clean and fresh with bold black type and shows just a few light marks. No scuffs or scratches. Plays through brilliantly with a very smooth mechanism.
J-card: EX. Stiff and strong. Bright, bold, colourful print. Corners and edges are very straight and sharp. Some light creasing at both ends of spine, caused in assembly/manufacture.
Case: VG. Original Columbia cassette case. Some light marks. No cracks or scratches.
