The BEATLES. “GREATEST HITS” - YESTERDAY LP . A uniquely different “Best Of”album issued in S. KOREA, about 1972, I think! It contains about 5 rarely chosen Beatles songs, such as YOU CAN’T DO THAT, TWIST AND SHOUT, and FROM ME TO YOU. Several others!!! Titled BEATLES SONGS-GREATEST HITS-YESTERDAY, It appears to be from about 1972, with 13 Early Beatles hit songs, from 1963-1965!! 5 of which are rarely on “Best Of” albums!! Of the 13 songs, 12 are from Lennon-McCartney. They mostly come from previous Singles , 1963 up to 1965!! And even 3 songs from the HELP LP!! Each song is still produced by George Martin. Fantastic!! As always!! And now another of the worlds unique and different Beatles cover photo on a record album! A unique cover, not the most beautiful, but I was attracted to this record immediately, unique tunes from a unique country!! The vinyl is graded Goldmine EX, my highest grade for opened items!! It appears UNPLAYED. Fully shiny and no writing! Photos 1-6 are the item for sale, photos 6-8 are photos just for fun, and Photos 10-12 are the only similar Korea album I could find on EBay, asking over $200. NOTE: the label is different but the song order and cover are essentially the same!! I started collecting worldwide Beatles various Greatest/Best Hits albums 20 years ago. I am starting to sell them off. I doubt EMI / Odeon or Korea will ever reissue this vinyl LP again, so getting a copy under $100 is a Now or Never proposition!! Additional rarity hits here are: I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER, HELP, TICKET TO RIDE, And my favorite from this batch, YESTERDAY!! This LP is an Amazing conglomeration of interesting early songs!! Of course every song is a classic, even today, over 50 years later. And all but one song on this LP were originals written by Lennon McCartney! They all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the Boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This is a beautiful record, quite wonderful sounding! This LP is well kept and in plastic sleeve since its purchase by me in 2020. I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible, especially one of these Beatles International compilation reissues which I thought would become rarer and greatly treasured!!
