The 13 LP box set "THE BEATLES COLLECTION." This edition is the 1982 Japanese pressing issued on the EMI-Odeon label (EAS-66010-23 Stereo).

This set comes in a dark blue textured clam shell box with the title, EMI-Odeon catalog # and Beatles facsimile signatures embossed in gold lettering on the front. Left side of the case has the title & EMI/Odeon logo (also in gold print.) The box is in VG++ condition with the following notes: there is storage wear on some of the corners with the left/front corner having a 1/4" diagonal crease. The rear hinge has been reinforced (not reattatched) with black acid-free fabric tape used specifically for bookbinding preservation (see last photo.) LP jackets are in overall excellent condition and have not been removed in almost 25 years until photographing for this auction. White Album has light pressure wear on the rear-bottom of the jacket.

Four of the LPs ("Please Please Me", "Sgt. Pepper", "Abbey Road" & "Rarities") were only played ONCE (to tape) with the remaining nine never played. Each record comes in an audiophile anti-static inner sleeve with Japanese liner notes & lyrics (also in English). THE BEATLES (EAS6018-19) Gatefold, embossed title, no serial #, poster (matte finish) included. Instead of 4 separate photos, the box comes with a 22" x 32-1/2" glossy poster combining all 4 headshots (see photo). It has not been opened up until taking this photo, so the folds are hard-pressed from years of storage.

I've also included a Japanese pressing (less OBI) of the LP "THE BEATLES BEAT" (EAS-81057), since it's on the same style black EMI-Odeon label as the ones in the box set. The vinyl is in NM condition. The jacket has a small "footprint" from a sticker on the back upper-left corner and some very mild yellowing along the back perimeter. It will be enclosed in its own clear, resealable-flap polypropylene protective sleeve.
