Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare 1st pressing of the Beatles debut UK single 'Love Me do / P. S. I Love You' on the Red Parlophone label!
Released in October of 1962, this was the first ever Beatles Parlophone single and peaked at number 17 in the UK charts. It really didn't sell well at all and, because of this, copies today are getting very difficult to find! This pressing features the closing brackets around the writing credit for P. S. I Love You and the 'Made in Gt. Britain' text is missing from under the Parlophone logo.
Comes in an original Parlophone company sleeve.
Please note that this is NOT the 1982 reissue. These 1982 reissues have the song titles in much bigger lettering and feature the word 'mono' on the label, something that the originals didn't.

The original Parlophone company sleeve is included. There's some general wear and tear (which is to be expected since this sleeve is made from flimsy paper and is 52 years old now!) and some creasing and disc impression. There's a small tear in the center opening as can be seen in the photo above. There's no splitting in any of the seams, although they do have some wear. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : GOOD+

The playing surface, as a whole, has a nice, crisp shine to it! There's some light scuffing but not much. There appears to be some kind of mark on side 1 that runs right up against the opening groove - a needle that was too heavy might have been pressed to it as it started to play, perhaps? Not sure, but it's there when I shine my desk lamp directly onto the vinyl. I've no idea if it affects play. On side 2 there's some kind of smudge or residue on the disc. It's only a very tiny spot at the ending of the track at the 10 o'clock position. rest of the disc, bar the aforementioned light scuffing, looks really nice!

Sadly the centre has been removed and has left a little damage on the side 1 label, as can be seen in the photo above, where the label's torn at the breaks. Apart from that, the labels are clean (bar a couple of little spots in the 'PARLOPHONE' title on side 1) with bright, silver text!

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
