Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare 1st pressing of the Beatles debut UK single 'Love Me do / P. S. I Love You' on the Red Parlophone label!
Released in October of 1962, this was the first ever Beatles Parlophone single and peaked at number 17 in the UK charts. It really didn't sell well at all and, because of this, copies today are getting very difficult to find! This is the third variation of the original red label issue that features the closing brackets around the writing credit for P. S. I Love You and also the 'Made in Gt. Britain' text under the Parlophone logo.
Comes in a reproduction Parlophone company sleeve. Please note that this is NOT the 1982 reissue. These 1982 reissues have the song titles in much bigger lettering and feature the word 'mono' on the label, something that the originals didn't.

The playing surface, as a whole, has a surprisingly good shine to it! The vinyl has a lot of light scuffing all over along with some slightly heavier scuffs. There's a small mark on side 1 at the 9 o'clock position that runs through about half of the track and is feelable under the fingernail.

The labels are looking okay with nice, bright text but do have some light damage. On side 1 there's a fair amount of light spindlewear and wear around the centrehole. There's sticker residue over the 'Parlophone' at the top (that's still a little sticky) and general light little scuffs and knocks. the side 2 label has 'S. Stanley' written in the pushout and also some light spindlewear and a little wear around the centrehole.

All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
