Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.
All photos are of the actual item on sale. I do not use stock or 'borrowed' images.

Original UK Parlophone Pressing in Decent Shape!
On offer here is an original standard copy of the Beatles debut LP 'Please Please Me' on the Parlophone label.
This is the original, standard issue on the yellow / black Parlophone label, and with the 'Recording First Published' text on the labels.
Usually, when original copies of this album come up for sale, they're pretty trashed. Beatlemania took its toll on these original discs and most were played to death, or scratched when people danced into the record player. Replacements were bought and the original discs were discarded.
This copy, however, is looking very clean and respectible for its age! Most turned up trashed but this looks like it has been looked after during its 55 year existance!

Day Side 1 Matrix Number XEX 421-1N Side 2 Matrix Number XEX 422-1N Side 1 Stampers 1 6 / GPA Side 2 Stampers 4 / GGR Cover Condition The cover is in VG+ condition. The sleeve is looking very clean for its age and is holding solidly, although there is sadly a little damage on the back. The front is clean with just touch of laminate rubbing and has some small creases here and there around the outer edges. Top and bottom seams, along with the spine, are all holding tight with no wear, splits or tears. The back is looking clean with just a few light patches of discolouration here and there. The bottom overflap looks to have taken a little damage that a previous owner has tried to repair with cellotape, which has since fallen away and left a scar. Overall, looking nice! Inner Sleeve Condition The inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. The sleeve is the original plastic lined Emitex and is holding up fine with just a little light wear and tear as you can see in the photos below. There's is a little staining on one side and a previous owner has written their name and address in tiny writing on the corner of one side. One seam is just beginning to wear through in the middle, but otherwise everything is holding up fine. Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in EX- condition. The disc has a really nice, clear shine to it and looks in remarkable condition for its age! All I can see is some light scuffing under my desk lamp. Very nice! So hard to find copies of this record in such condition! Label Condition The labels are in VG+ condition. The labels are looking clean but do have a little spindlewear damage as you can see in the photos below. Apart from that they are clean with no writing or tears and have bright, silver text.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.price rating
