Description

After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare 1963 error pressing of the Beatles UK EP 'Twist and Shout'.

This EP lists the track 'Do You Want to Know a Secret" on the side 2 label as "Do You Want A Know a Secret". This mistake was very quickly picked up on and soon corrected, making it a very rare error pressing!

Usually these flimsy thin-cardboard sleeves are found pretty well worn but this is a pretty respectible copy! The front has yellowed slightly - the photo above has given it a very slight blue hue which is hiding this a little. But it's very clean with no dirt buildup on the laminate and has a little, light disc impression. There are also some light, little creases in the laminate. The top seam has a little wear about an inch long but there're no splits of any kind. The bottom seam has no wear and has not split. The side seam,again, is holding tight with no splits or wear. The back is clean but has yellowed slightly and has a slight browning around the mouth edge along with a little disc impression. The overflaps are stuck tight but the bottom one has a few little laminate creases. Overall, though, the cover is looking very good for its age!   Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG/VG+

The playing surface has a nice shine to it but a fair amount of light, faint scuffing. I can't really see any heavier scuffs than that.

The labels are clean, crisp and clear with bright silver text. There's s some light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole. But, overall, the labels are looking really good!
