PLEASE READ FIRST!
I'm having to make this even clearer as people are still buying records I'm grading low and as a 'collection filler', and then complain about the audio quality when they try to play them. As I do not own a record player I VISUALLY GRADE my records, so I cannotguarantee that discs will be click, skip and noise free (although any marks that may cause such problems will be highlighted in the description).
All photos are of the actual item on sale. I do not use stock or 'borrowed' images.

Mega Rare BLACK Parlophone Label 3rd Press with Sold in UK!
This listing is for an extremely rare 3rd pressing of the Beatles debut single 'Love Me Do' / 'PS I Love You'. Not only is this copy of the later black Parlophone label, but also features the 'Sold in UK' statement in the pushout centre!
When this single was originally released back in October 1962 it did pretty modestly, reaching number 17 in the charts. After the release of their follow-up single, Please Please Me, an album was hastily recorded and released in March 1963. By then, the single had long dropped out of the charts.
Because both songs on this single were on the album, there was absolutely zero need to by a replacement copy of this single, and so any copies that feature the later black Parlophone labels in general are in themselves very, very hard to find.
But this copy is from even later and features the 'Sold in UK' statement! The label style date this pressing to 1964. By this time the Beatles were into the Hard Day's Night era and this particular single would only have been available to buy via special order. Because of this, and because the songs were already available to listen to on the Please Please Me album, pretty much zero copies of this single ever turn up!
This is an incredibly rare opportunity to be able to add this single to your collection. Due to how few were ever manufactured back in 1964 they just never come up for sale today! A great opportunity to add this mega rare single to your collection!

KMPZT stamped in deadwax at 9 o'clock on side 1, MPZT on side 2 Sleeve Manufacturer - Side 1 Matrix Number 7XCE 17144-1N Side 2 Matrix Number 7XCE 17145-1N Side 1 Stampers 1 / RL Side 2 Stampers 1 / RL Cover Condition The company sleeve is in EX condition. The sleeve is holding up so, so nicely for its age with just a little rubbing and light creasing. But overall holding up really nicely! Check out the photos below! Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in EX- condition. The disc has a really nice, clean shine to it and just some light scuffing here and there along with a couple of very light but noticeable scuffs. Nothing at all bad or serious - very rare to find this disc in such a clean condition! Label Condition The labels are in VG+ condition. The labels are very clean with no writing, stickers etc. There's some light spindlewear as you can see in the photos below and a touch of white around the centrehole.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.price rating
