Description

This sale is for a copy of "Introducing The Beatles" by The Beatles. This is from 1964 on Vee Jay VJ-1062 in mono. This is in great condition with the cover still in the factory shrinkwrap.......see all photos below as they are part of the description. This issue lists "Please, Please Me" & "Ask Me Why" on the back cover. This is the all black label with the plain VJ logo. There are 2 small breathe holes in the front shrink. Also, this comes with the original red VJ inner sleeve (has splits & a couple of small tears). The songs are "I Saw Her Standing There", "Misery", "Anna", "Chains", "Boys", "Ask Me Why", "Please, Please Me", "Baby It's You", "Do You Want To Know A Secret?", "A Taste Of Honey", "There's A Place" & "Twist & Shout".

Condition

  • Cover : The cover is in VG++ condition with a tiny light rub on the right corner tips, a tiny ding on the right edge & a tear in the slick on the back where there is a tear in the shrink. This tear could be easily fixed, just glued back down & it would barely be noticed. But otherwise this is a beautiful cover, one of the best that I have seen in years & years. The shrinkwrap is clean & tight. *****PLEASE NOTE***** In the photo below, the spot at the bottom of the cover is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.


  • Vinyl : The vinyl shines like new with all of its original gloss & is in VG condition with a lot of very light scuffs & hairlines that are surface only & can't be felt in any way. There is a tiny nick that results in a light click for 7 revolutions on "Anna" but otherwise this LP plays very nice just like all the old VJ vinyl.


  • Labels : The labels are in NM- condition with a couple of light trails.
