Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare reel-to-reel tape copy of the Beatles album 'A Hard Day's Night'!
Vinyl wasn't the only format that the Beatles albums were released on. They were also issued on 3 3/4 IPS twin track mono tape for playing on reel-to-reel tape players. These tapes were sold in much fewer numbers than their vinyl counterparts and, today, are difficult to find and highly collectible!
Comes complete with it's original packing slip and EMI Tape leaflet.

As you can see, the lid of the box isn't holding out too well and has yellowing, light browning and a couple of tears. There's also a small chunk missing as you can see in the photo above. The box itself though is holding fine, although it has some discolouration on the bottom as you can see in the photo above. It's holding tight with no splits or tears. The inner tray holding the tape is included and has browned a little, but has no tears or creasing. The Inserts : EX

The original packing slip and EMI Tape leaflet are included with the tape. The packing slip is looking great with no real discolouration, creases or tears and the pencil writing is all fully legible. The EMI Tape leaflet is looking great with only very slight creasing in one or two places the like. It seems everso slightly yellowed but, overall, is looking fine with no real creasing and no tears. The tape is in it's original EMI Tape reel which has it's Parlophone sticker on it. The feed tape has some creases - I haven't unravelled it beyond this opening feed but the rest of the tape looks okay. Since I don't have a reel-to-reel tape player I'm unable to play it and see how it sounds.

All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
