The Beatles - 'Day Tripper / We Can Work It Out'. 45-R 5389 NI

The Beatles 1965 1st Nigerian pressing of 'Day Tripper / We Can Work It Out' 7" single. These Nigerian pressing are remarkably rare due to their very low pressing run.

Released on the Parlophone label both sides feature 'The Parlophone Co.Ltd....' rim print and 'E.M.I (NIGERIA) LIMITED. The catalog number also has additional digits GEP 45-R 5389 NI to differentiate it from the UK version. These are simply an abbreviation of Nigeria. The vinyl comes housed within the original UK produced 'Fran the Fan' sleeve. Due to the very small pressing run for this single it was simply far more cost effective to import a quantity of UK sleeves.

The Matrix numbers are: (both sides have NO mother, stamper codes and NO tax codes).

Side 1. 7XCE 18342-7

Side 2. 7XCE 18341-6

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition side one and condition side two.

Both labels are in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.
