BEATLES 1965 RUBBER SOUL y/b PARL MONO PMC 1267 EX+

On offer is an EX+ (very superior example) of The BEATLES LP entitled RUBBER SOUL released in the UK in mono on yellow-black PARLOPHONE PMC 1267 in 1965. 

This is A SUPERB mono RUBBER SOUL [IN EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION]. The detailed description is as follows: 

v  The disc is visually in SUPERB EX+ condition with a lovely sheen and clear, clean vinyl.

v  The disc sounds superb throughout.  I have just test played the disc for the first time in many years and it plays beautifully with a full dynamic range on my hi-fi.

v  The labels are in great EX condition. There is some very minor spindle wear.

v  The matrix numbers of the disc are:  579–5 and 580-5 respectively. The mother-stamper codes are 1-PH and 3-PA respectively.

v  ‘THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD.’ text is around the rim of the disc label.

v  The disc labels have the ‘SOLD IN U.K…text. The labels are very clean with minor spindle marks.

v  The flip-back sleeve has the manufacturer credit: ‘Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending’.

v  The disc has the original / correct ‘Use Emitex’ inner.

v  The labels are in nice and clean EX condition. There is some very minor spindle wear.

v  The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd  - earliest 'Patents Pending'  laminated flipback picture sleeve front cover - is in tremendous  EX+ condition.

v  The non-laminated back cover is also in fabulous EX+ condition.

v  The spine also is in beautiful condition too. The LP title on the spine: Rubber Soul – The Beatles looks amazingly new and fresh. All the edges and corners of the spine and the cover are of course intact and free of any unsightly blemishes. Indeed my wife wondered whether the LP had ever been kept outside a plastic cover – it looks so amazing.

v  The ‘Use Emitex’ inner is the correct one for this 1965 LP. It also is in tremendous condition: as good an EMITEX Parlophone / Beatles inner as you would find.  This inner no longer houses the disc which is now kept in a new plain white inner to protect the disc and the original inner. Both inners will – of course - be supplied to the winner.

v  The LP has been extremely well looked after and has been kept by me in a plastic sleeve for over 30 years which has ensured it has kept its amazingly fresh look.

Overall this is a SUPERB EX+ example of the Beatles MONO RUBBER SOUL LP on Parlophone. This beautiful condition LP has been well looked after over the years as part of my personal collection: it is one of the best examples you could ever wish to see of this 1965 MONO pressing. In summary: VERY RARE in this condition.
