This auction is for a copy of the Beatles 1965 Third Christmas Flexi Disc!
At the end of every year the Official Beatles Fan Club sent out a flexi disc to every member that contained Christmas messages from the band members. Only a strictly limited run were issued back in 1965 and, today, these flexi discs are hard to find, especially in their original sleeves!
...
The original sleeve is included. It's still holding but does have some damage. The cover as a whole has browned a little and has some light staining in a few places. There's also some small damage - there's a small tear on the mouth edge just next to John's leg and there's a tear at the bottom left that's gone through both the front and back of the sleeve. Check out the photos above! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG+
These discs were made as cheaply as possible, and certainly not to last, but this copy isn't looking too bad at all! There's still a nice shine to the playing surface and there's a few little scuffs, but nothing serious..
.
The label on the playing side is clean but has browned a little as you can see in the photo above. There's no writing or stains and is looking pretty good. Please be aware that the cheap clue that was used to stick the label onto the disc is starting to give and the label is starting to come away. The fact it's managed to last over 50 years though isn't bad!.
.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
