After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare original 1st pressing of the Beatles legendary LP 'Revolver' on the Parlophone label. This is the mega rare early variation that features the XEX 606-1 matrix in the side 2 deadwax!
When the LP was initially put into production, side 2 had a matrix number of 606-1 and 'Remix 11' of the song 'Tomorrow Never Knows'. The story goes that when the first albums were pressed each Beatle was given a copy to listen to John listened to his and was unhappy with the track Tomorrow Never Knows, and quickly told George Martin. Production was stopped as a new master was prepared with 'Remix 8' of the song being used in replacement, and given the matrix XEX 606-2
These 606-1 presses were only in production for a very, very short amount of time before the mix of TNK was changed. Today they are highly collectible and a must for all Beatle collections!

The cover isholdin up okay, but is showing general wear and tear. Nothing too serious, though. The front has yellowed a little (but noticeably) but the laminate is clean from dirt buildup. There's little laminate creases around the edges and a little browning on the spine and mouth edges along with some light disc impression. The top has a small split in the middle, about 2 inches long. the bottom seam is showing some wear in the middle but hasn't really split, but is looking pretty fragile - this is about 2 inches long. The spine has browned a little and has some little laminate creases running through it, but hasn't worn or split, and is fully legible. The back is looking pretty good although has yellowed a little. There's alittle disc impression and some light browning and wear down the mouth edge. The overflaps are holding tight but are a little yellowed. Overall, average wear and tear but is holding okay. Inner Sleeve: VG+

The original tissue paper Emitex inner is included. It's yellowed a little and has some creases but hasn't split and the inner bag is still tightly in place. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : G+

The playing surface is looking okay with a fair amount of light, faint scuffs over it. the grading has been knocked down a little due to a heavier looking mark on side 1 at the 10 o'clock position that runs through most of the tracks. I can't really feel anything under the fingernail but it is noticeable. Side 2, the important side, has no real heavy marks, just mainly scuffing and a few little, light surface scuffs with notning heavier that I can see.

The labels are looking a little tired with a bit of damage. On side 1 there's a small, light white patch on the right, a fair amount of light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole. On side 2 there's some tape residue where someone must have cellotaped their name onto the label or something. There's also a fair amount of light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
