Description
This is the original UK LP by the BEATLES, REVOLVER, STEREO, PCS 7009, originally issued in 1966, this is the RARE 1968 Pressing on the Black and Yellow PARLOPHONE label, this is very last to be Pressed WITH "Sold in the UK" label credits, soon after the 1969 pressing has NO "Sold in the UK" label credits, the label's have "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" rim credits and "Sold in the UK" label credits. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- YEX 605-1, SIDE 2;- 606-1, EMI stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 4 / LR, SIDE 2:- 2 / OM, the LP comes complete with it's original 1968 EMI inner sleeve.
The original 1968 UK STEREO Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover is in a ABSOLUTELY STUNNING MINT- condition, THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT 'THE' BEST original UK Revolver cover I HAVE EVER SEEN!, ALMOST IN MINT PERFECT condition!. The front is SNOW WHITE!, THE CLEANEST I'VE EVER SEEN, their is only 3 very small 5mm lamination creases on the top left hand corner, other than that, their is no other lamination creases, the back is lovely and clean, with no handling marks on the black area's all graphics are un-scuffed and sharp as a razor. The corners boast razor sharp edges and corners, their is no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact, broad, and perfectly readable, A STUNNING COVER, WOW!.
The vinyl is in a VERY STRONG! EX+++/ MINT- condition, maintaining all it's original gleaming shine and lustre, I have played the vinyl, both sides (very carefully), and the vinyl plays MINT-, the quality of this STEREO pressing ia BREATHTAKING! and that is no exagarration!!!!!, the vinyl plays with STUNNING CRISP, CLEAR CLARITY!, whilst delivering a spell binding warmth and depth to this MASTERPIECE.
The label's are in MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, the spindal hole has only minimal wear, again their is no TAX code embossed on either side of the label's indicating this is a 1968 Pressing.
The vinyl is housed its original 1968 EMI inner sleeve and in MINT- condition, lovely and clean, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits.
Altogether a SUPERB copy of this original 1968 UK LP by the BEATLES, REVOLVER, STEREO, the very last Black and Yellow PARLOPHONE Pressing to have "Sold in the UK" label credits.
