The Beatles - 'A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (But Goldies !)'. PCS 7016

The Beatles 1966 UK 1st STEREO FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (But Goldies !)' LP. Released on the 10th December 1966, and offered here fully complete with very earliest 1 G stamper (not matrix) and a rare STEREO stickered sleeve.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text and have 'The gramophone Co. Ltd....' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side two label. It comes complete with the original front laminated STEREO sleeve and made in England inner sleeve.

The cover is interesting in that it is a correct 1966 Stereo ‘Garrod and Lofthouse, Patents Pending’ front lamented sleeve with flipbacks but has NO STEREO wording to the front. Instead it has a red STEREO sticker applied.

The matrix numbers are:

Side 1: YEX 619-1G 1 GT

Side 2: YEX 620-1G 1 G

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT- condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.

The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. I will also include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £18.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
