Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for an original 1967 mono 1st press copy of the Beatles LP 'Sgt. Peppers' on the yellow / black Parlophone label. This copy also includes it's original dark green cutout sheet and original red custom inner sleeve!

The cover is holding up nicely for its age but is showing some light wear and tear. The front has lost a little of its rich colours but is clean with just a little, light laminate rubbing and small creasing around the edges. Top seam is holding perfectly. Bottom seam has a tiny papertear in the middle but hasn't split and is holding tight. Spine has worn and the laminate has peeled leaving it to collect a little dirt, but has not split and is fully legible. Back cover has its original rich, red colour and a little laminate rubbing and light disc impression. There are some creases running around the edge. Inside gatefold looks as good as it did when it was first printed with a rich colour and glossy laminate with no creasing or anything. Lovely! . Cut Out Insert : FAIR
The original dark green cut-out is included (later cut-outs had a lighter, more washed out green). Sadly someone has torn out the bass drum, but the rest is looking okay. Inner Sleeve : FAIR / GOOD
The original inner sleeve is included. It's holding okay but has seen better days. There's a little creaming and there's a 3/4" long tear down from the mouth edge. The mouth edge has worn andfrayed and two of the seams have split in the middle. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG
The playing surface has a nice shine to it but does have some light scuffing and surface marks. There are a few slightly heavier looking marks (including one on the outer edge of side 2 at 2 o'clock, about 3/4" long that I can just about feel under my fingernail) but there's nothing nasty or serious.

The labels are clean with bright, silver text. There's some light spindlewear and a touch of whitening around the centrehole

All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
