The Beatles - 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' LP. PCS 7027
The Beatles 1967 UK 1st STEREO pressing of the 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' album. This comes complete with stereo vinyl, spelling error gatefold stereo sleeve, cutout insert white inner sleeve.
This particular copy has TWO PRINTING ERRORS on the rear sleeve. The track ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ is incorrectly listed as ‘A Little Help From My Friends’. It is spelt correctly on the vinyl label. The first line of the lyrics are also printed wrong as the song DOES NOT begin with the line “A Little Help From My Friends” as printed here but begins “What would you think if I sang out of tune”.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd.' rim print. The ‘KT’ tax code is embossed on the side two label. The vinyl is housed with a white inner and correct 1967 stereo sleeve.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. YEX 637-1 2 LH
Side 2. YEX 638-1 2 GDD
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition.
Both labels are in VERY GOOD+ condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
