The Beatles - 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'. PCS 7027
The Beatles 1967 UK 1st STEREO pressing of the 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' album. Released on the 1st June 1967, it is offered here fully complete with ALL INSERTS and in great condition.
'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' is widely regarded as The Beatles finest and most creative work. Upon it's release in 1967 it was instantly acclaimed a masterpiece by critics from the pop and established music world alike. It is often described as the greatest and most groundbreaking album ever produced to which I must humbly agree. Quite simply marvelous.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label in rarer STEREO format both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd.' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side one label. The vinyl comes housed within the original 'psychedelic flame' inner sleeve with the correct 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN PATENTS APPLIED FOR' text printed to the bottom right hand corner. The Sgt Peppers cutout sheet is also fully intact and in remarkable EXCELLENT++ condition. The stereo vinyl comes complete with the correct STEREO ONLY sleeve which is also in particularly nice condition.
The vast majority of UK stereo copies of this album feature YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-2 matrix numbers BUT this copy features the very earliest possible YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1 matrix numbers. A superb example of this much sought after groundbreaking album.

Side 1. YEX 637-1 1 LO
Side 2. YEX 638-1 33 PG
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT condition. Both sides of the vinyl have been play tested with NO faults just some light crackle.
Both labels are in MINT- condition. STUNNING
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. NO damage just some light wear to the corners.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD- condition. Large seam splits to two edges. I will also include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.
The insert is in EXCELLENT++ condition.
