Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

MEGA RARE 'Fourth Proof' SLEEVE!
This listing is for a very rare copy of the Beatles legendary LP 'Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band'. This copy features the 'Fourth Proof' sleeve!
The 'Fourth Proof' copies of Sgt. Pepper are the earliest possible sleeves ever to have come off of the production line. When the cover for Sgt. Peppers was being designed a small set of protoype sleeves, or proof sleeves, were mocked up for the group to view and give their okay too. After this approval, a tiny 'test' run was carried out to make sure everything looked okay before the 'Fourth Proof' text and 'AR D1321' (a possible reference or catalogue number for the typeset or design used) text was removed from the design and production fully started.
It was only the copies on this very tiny initial test run that featured the 'Fourth Proof' text and, today, copies that carry this are nearly impossible to find!!

Title The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band Year of Release 1967 Catalogue Number PMC 7027 Label Yellow / Black Parlophone with 'Gramo' rimtext and 'Sold in UK' statement Tax Code on Disc - Sleeve Manufacturer Garrod and Lofthouse Side 1 Matrix Number XEX 637-1 Side 2 Matrix Number XEX 638-1 Side 1 Stampers 3 7 / MRR Side 2 Stampers 8 / MRA Cover Condition The cover is in G+/VG- condition. It's holding up okay but is definitely showing its age. The front looks nice but has some laminate rubbing, slight disc impression and creases in the laminate all around the edges. The corners are rounded and a little knocked. The top seam is a little worn but predominately fine with no splitting. The bottom seam has a small 1" split in the middle but otherwise is holding. The spine is worn with some tearing in the middle and near the top, obscuring some of the spine text. The back has a rich, red colour and has some rubbing to the laminate and some light disc impression. There's creases around the edges. The inside is lovely and clean with a shiny, unworn laminate. There are a few little creases but, overall, the inside is looking really nice! Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in VG condition. The disc, overall, is looking very nice and clean with just a few, light scuffing in places. However there is quite a heavy scuffmark on side 1 at the 7 o'clock position, near the outer edge - I have taken a photo of this scuffmark and you can see it down with the other photos. Label Condition The labels are in EX- condition. The labels are looking nice and clean with no stickers or tears, and just a very little, light pencil where someone has written '20' on side 1 and '19 m's' on side 2. There's just a little, light spindlewear on both and a touch of whitening around the centrehole.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
