Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

Very Rare 1st Press that OMITS TV Credit!
This auction is for a rare original 1st pressing of the Beatles single 'All You Need is Love' on the Parlophone label. This is the very early 1st pressing that omits both the 'Our World' TV reference and the George Martin producer credit on the label.!
The song was recorded 'live' on the Our World live transmission, the first ever global TV satellite linkup that the Beatles were asked to perform a song on. It was watched by an estimated 350 million people and, the day before the broadcast, it was decided that the song should also be released as a single.
When the single was initially released the labels omitted any mention of the 'Our World' recording as well as not crediting George Martin as producer. This was almost immediately corrected after production began and the labels were quickly altered to include "(Recorded During 'Live' World Television transmission)" under the writing credits. George Martin also got a producers credit under the band title.
Only a small amount of copies came off the production line without the Our World TV credit and so are becoming very hard to find these days!

Title All You Need is Love / Baby, You're a Rich Man Year of Release 1967 Catalogue Number R 5620 Label UK Parlophone with 'Gramophone' rimtext and 'Sold in UK' statement Tax Code on Disc KT Sleeve Manufacturer - Side 1 Matrix Number 7XCE 18425-1 Side 2 Matrix Number 7XCE 18426-2 Side 1 Stampers 1 / GR Side 2 Stampers 1 / P Sleeve Condition The companyt sleeve is in VG condition. It's holding up okay but is showing some wear and tear with some light creasing and a small tear as you can see in the photos below. The top is a little frayed and the seams are looking a little fragile, but overall it's holding okay. Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in VG+/EX- condition. The disc has a nice, good, clean shine to it and the playing surface is looking very respectable with just some light surface marks and scuffs here and there. Looking pretty good! Label Condition The labels are in VG+ condition. The labels are clean although there's a little sticker residue on the side 1 label. The silver text looks just a little faded on each label. There's some light spindlewear - a little moreso on side 2 - and a touch of whitening around the centreholes. Nice labels.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
