The Beatles - 'The Beatles (The White Album)'. PMC 7067 / PMC 7068
The Beatles 1968 UK 1st MONO pressing of the 'White Album' LP. Released on the 22nd November 1968 and offered here FULLY COMPLETE with two vinyls, black inner sleeves, four pictures, poster and top opening numbered MONO sleeve.
Released on the dark UK Apple label, all four sides of the vinyl feature the 'Sold in UK ....' statement. Side 4 features a ‘KJT’ embossed tax stamp which is an unusual feature as embossed tax stamps ended earlier in the 1960’s. All four sides have the very earliest matrix numbers ended in 1 (1/1/1/1).
This comes fully complete with the two black matt inner sleeves, four photographs, ‘lipstick kiss’ poster and top opening MONO sleeve No. 0169434. A rare opportunity to obtain a fully complete UK MONO issue of The Beatles White Album.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. XEX 709-1 1 AR
Side 2. XEX 710-1 7 MP
Side 3. XEX 711-1 3 TA
Side 4. XEX 712-1 8 GMD
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition on sides 1 and 2 and VERY GOOD+ condition on sides 3 and 4.
All labels are in EXCELLENT condition. All sides have a small round circle area of what is probably sticker residue.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
One inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition and one is in GOOD condition. I shall include additional inner sleeves to protect the originals.
The four pictures are in VERY GOOD+ condition. One pin hole in each.
The poster is in GOOD+ condition. Old tape repairs and some splitting.
