Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a very rare export pressing of the Beatles UK single 'Hey Jude' / 'Revolution'.
Whereas the domestic UK pressing of Hey Jude was on the newly formed Apple label, EMI produced a very small number of copies on Parlophone specifically for export to countries that, I'm assuming, didn't have Apple registered as a record label or trademark. This particular copy went to Sweden as it comes complete with it's very rare, original Swedish picture sleeve!
Not only that, but this copy carries 1G / 1G mother/stampers in the deadwax! To read more about what the mother / stamper codes mean, then I suggest a quick read of this page here. The 1G/1G stampers on this record, as detailed in that link, shows that this was one of the first 300 copies off the press!! This would imply that the very, very first copies of this single ever to be pressed in the UK were actually on the Parlophone label!
These are very hard to find and rarely come up for sale, especially in their original picture sleeve!.

The original Swedish picture sleeve is holding up beautifully for its age with just a few little areas of light, wear and tear. The front is clean with judt a very light creasing and disc impression in places and a small white tear on the mouth edge as you can see in the photo above. All the seams are holding tightly with no splits or tears. The back is clean but does have a very slight darkening in the middle where the disc label would usually be. There's a tiny 2mm or so long tear on the mouthedge about half way down. All in all, looking very, very nice!! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : EX-
The playing surface has a great shine to it and a fair amount of light, faint scuffing. Nothing at all serious or heavy, though. Looking really nice! Usually these discs turn up pretty trashed.

The labels are looking great with bright, silver text and no rubbing, writing, stickers, tears etc. I can see just one small, faint spindlemark on the side 2 label and there's just a very light touch of whitening around the centrehole. Top labels!
