The Beatles - 'Yellow Submarine'. PCS 7070
The Beatles 1969 PARLOPHONE EXPORT? pressing of the 'Yellow Submarine' album. A very unusual issue of this album with a ridged label similar to Decca pressings (contract pressing)? Released on the one box Parlophone label (circa 1969) not Apple as this album should be. Both sides of the vinyl have the ‘Gramophone Co Ltd….’ rim print.
This issue also has a label error on side two. Track two is labeled as ‘2. Sea Of Time and Sea Of Holes’ but this should be two separate tracks ‘2. Sea Of Time’ and ‘3. Sea Of Holes’. This therefore has six tracks on side two where in fact it should have seven. An unusual and rare issue.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. YEX 715-4
Side 2. XEX 716-1
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. BUT some small writing written neatly on the rear.
The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. I shall include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.

It has been suggested to me that this Parlophone issue originates from a foreign country (not a UK pressing). A few countries that have been suggested include Barbados, the Bahamas, SouthEast Asia, Israel and Ireland. Both Barbados and the Bahamas have been suggested more than once but unfortunalty I do not know the origin. An unusual issue though with the strange label error!
