Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a very rare, original stereo 1st pressing of the Beatles 1969 LP 'Yellow Submarine' on the dark Apple label. This is the early 1st press with features the red lines on the back cover and 'Sold in the UK' on the labels - this text was only on the label for a very short time before the laws requiring that text were changed and it was removed.
Yellow Submarine is not considered to be one of the group's best records. It only featured 4 new songs and side 2 featured orchestral music from the animated feature film of the same name. Because of this barely any sold and, today, the original 1st presses are incredibly hard to find!
This is a really nice copy of this very rare record and comes complete with it's original black inner sleeve. All in all this is an extremelt decent copy of this hard to find album and would look awesome in any Beatles collection!

The cover is holding up beautifully for its age with just a little, light wear and tear in places. The front has a beautiful, rich, full colour to it and very clean laminate with just a little rubbing. There's also a little disc impression and some tiny creases running around the edges. Top and bottom seams are holding perfectly. The spine has the pinches at the top and bottom and is holding perfectly with all the text fully legible. The back is looking very clean with just a little creaming and a hint of browning on the mouthedge. The overflaps are holding tightly with a little sticker resiure on the top right. There's a small green and red sticker at the top left of the sleeve. Overall, the cover is looking brilliant for its age! Ususally these sleeves are pretty worn and damage but this one looks great! The original black inner sleeve is included and is holding brilliantly! There's some light disc impression and some very light freying along the mouth edge, but overall the sleeve is holding up remarkably with no splits, tears or anything. Looking awesome! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : EX
The playing surface has a lovely, crisp shine to it and just some light, faint scuffs here and there. Nothing at all serious and, overall, the playing surface is looking awesome!

The labels are looking stellar with just a little, very faint spindlewear and no visible whitening around the centrehole. The grading has come down due to there being a small tear on the side 1 label as you can see in the photo above.
